The result of a “long awaited” time from many CAPRISTO aficionados, is the amazing valve-controlled exhaust system developed by CAPRISTO® Exhaust. The first thing you’ll notice is that the mufflers are crafted in true CAPRISTO® fashion, using only the highest grade polished stainless steel (T309), as well as all mounting points and hangers.
You will also notice is that the CAPRISTO® system retains the use of vacuum actuated valves to control the flow of exhaust under different driving conditions.
The CAPRISTO® system does not have any restrictive factory exhaust sound regulations, and was engineered and designed to let the howl of the Aventdor’s 9,000 rpm redline to be heard by all with the distinctive CAPRISTO® sound…
By installing a CAPRISTO System, you will not only improve dramatically the sound of your vehicle, but you will also be able to get the power in the rpm range where you would normally drive the car. It is also noted that very few people drive their road vehicles at max rpm at all times and for “every day” application.
The total power from its 12-cylinder engine has been lifted from 700hp to 734hp at 8,300rpm and 670Nm to 740Nm at 6,000rpm. The Aventador with the CAPRISTO Exhaust accelerates from zero to 100km/h in 2.8 seconds, 0.1 seconds faster than stock, and a top speed of 354km/h, which is 3km/h higher than the basic vehicle.
Like our other high performance exhausts, the Aventador LP700 valve exhaust system is intended to be a balanced increase between power, drive ability and sound quality, without forgetting of course a substantial loss of weight.
The CAPRISTO® Exhaust Remote Control gives you the ability to control the flaps to open permanently, without the in-series control being able to intervene. When the exhaust valve system is closed again with the use of the remote control unit, then the in-series control unit will again take over the control of the exhaust valves.
